Hardware Live is a 2 hour sonic exploration on The Lot Radio aired on 11/03/2024.
This episode is a special one to me.
It was my first time performing off my drum machine/synth fully fabricated.
It was also my first time performing with 2 of my professors, Mason Mann and David Rios. They spent countless hours debugging and fixing codes with me during thesis. These incredible educators encouraged me and made me believe I could do this work even when my mind and body told me I couldn’t. Their constant help, guidance and mentorship is why I was able to see this project through.
and lastely, it was my first time performing with my dear brother and comrade, Olive Yu. We both embarked this hardware journey together during our masters program and it was special finally seeing and hearing a machine we built with our hands.
Mason and David also performed off their own DIY homemade musical hardware.
